What is Sanguine Rust? A PVE Rust server where the island fights back

On most Rust servers the biggest threat is the guy behind you with a double barrel. On Sanguine Rust the biggest threat is the island itself. We are a PVE Rust server: players do not kill players, and everything that would normally make Rust stressful is pointed at the environment instead.

What makes it different

• An XP and skill system. Everything you do earns XP: mining, farming, fighting, building. Spend it on skill trees that actually change how you play, from gathering to combat to vehicles.
• Prestige. Hit the cap and prestige for permanently stronger craftable gear. Prestige weapons and armor carry unique skins so everyone can see what you have earned.
• Custom crafting. Our own craft menu goes far beyond vanilla blueprints: prestige tiers of weapons and armor, vehicles, and gear you will not see anywhere else.
• Zombies, everywhere. The dead roam the whole island day and night, and the deeper you push into harsher biomes the tougher they get. Every tenth night a blood moon turns the map truly hostile.
• World bosses and events. Named bosses with real mechanics, satellite crashes guarded by military scientists, dungeon runs, temple runs, raidable AI bases and more.
• Quests and traders. NPC traders hand out contracts, run shops and pay you in schematics, the currency of our prestige economy.

No wipe dread

Your skills, prestige and unlocks survive the wipe. Maps rotate, progression does not. That means every wipe starts fast and nobody loses months of work.
